A deep low pressure system will rotate northeastward across our area today. A tight pressure gradient behind the low will produce strong winds this through the afternoon. Sustained west winds of 20 to 30 mph and wind gusts up to near 45 mph are possible through the day. Winds will diminish this evening.
These winds will blow around any loose items left outside as well as make driving more difficult for those in high profile vehicles.
